2012 Southeastern Oklahoma State University Training

We had a phenomenal first E1O1 training this week in Durant, Oklahoma on campus at Southeastern Oklahoma State University.  It was two full days of sharpening, rebuilding and redesigning how they influence prospective students to attend SE. The output for their team was 25+ specific upgrades to the recruiting and admissions process that will absolutely improve their ability to provide a personal recruiting experience and increase qualified enrollment numbers.  The upgrades include:

  • Changing the process of high school visits
  • Improving the student ambassador training process
  • Restructuring the print pieces mailed
  • Upgrading the website
  • Sharpening the language used to define the Southeastern experience
  • Refocusing the purpose of the high school visit and college fair presentations

Positively impacting the lives of young people is the best way to describe the major outcomes of a university campus going through and implementing the E1O1 curriculum.  We are confident the recruiting and admissions crew at Southeastern are better equipped to do just that in a very personal fashion because of the work done in Frost Chambers Monday and Tuesday.

Each time a prospective student is contacted by or visits a college, he/she should feel like the only one that campus wants next semester. Each one, only one.
